Nalux is a general manufacturer of a wide variety of optical elements and assembled modules.
We have been involved in a large number of joint research projects in Industry, government, and academia and joint research programs teaming with various universities such as the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Osaka University and Tohoku University.
We are designated as the one of 30 NEDO Fundamental Technology Research Promoting Company in Japan and received an award of JSME(Japan Society of Mechnical Engineering) and honorable R&D prizes of major economic newspaper and journals. Nalux also attends international conferences, such as SPIE, and presents technical papers every year.
Nalux is a world leader in the application of Mechanical engineering, Optical design and Nanotechnology for optical products. Nalux has been molding plastic optical elements for over 50 years and this has made us one of the top global suppliers in the industry. Using independent research conducted in our facilities in Osaka Japan, we have been involved in R&D in mechanical engineering how to control molecular density, analysis of electro-magnetic field, optical design in quantum effect range pursuing strict soluiton of diffraction, and we are performing optical designs in nano-meter accuracy in nano-technology, making Nalux unprecedented company.
Nalux was first in the world who has developed subwavelength gratings which are smaller than the wavelength of the light passing through as well developing other advanced products and formuila first in the world that are used in applications as diverse as medical, virtual reality, and photokinetics.
In recent years Nalux’s Research and Development group has focused on Opto-Mechanical products which combine electronics, mechanics and optics to create products that are useful to society. One of these devices is a micro motor which is a MEMS device that converts light into mechanical motion. Call us to learn what types of devices we can make for you.
